Admittedly, I’m not that much of a Wonder Woman fan, though I did read Greg Rucka’s run on the title pre-Infinite Crisis. But the prospect of a writer like Brian Azzarello, whose work on Vertigo titles I am a fan of, writing the character is interesting to say the least.
In this interview, Azzarello said that his take on Wonder Woman is that is “not a superehero book. It’s a horror book.” What does he mean by that exactly? That’s why I’m following this title come September.
